New Shoes for My Z3

With 60K miles on the original Michelin rubber, and about 1/32 of tread left, I guess it's time for some new tires. Being the cheap bastard that I am, I'm drawn to the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 ($66) and the Yokohama AVS ES100 ($83). I realize at these prices they probably won't wear as long or grip as well as the Michelins. Any coments or opinions on these tires? Perhaps other suggestions in the sub $100 range?

Thanks!

I have used the Kumho ECSTA's on my M roadster before and had no problem with them. Yes, your correct they did not stick as well as the Michelins, but I got better mileage out of the Kumho's. Today I am running Toyo Proxes, which I love, but they are back up there in price with the Michelins.

Thanks for the response. Considering I mostly drive like an old lady, I think the Kumho's will do fine. Are those the Kumho's on the photo in your sig?
