Well its been a while since I have posted some pics for you guys, but since then I have been pursing my life into the Photojournalism career. I have taken an advance Photography level 2 class in my highschool my senior year before I graduated. I will be attending San Jose State Univeristy this fall to get my bachelor's in Photography here is my gallery that I started with two of my best friends. We are all amatuer photgraphers at the moment. The gear I use are 2 DSLRs one of them is the Nikon D50 and my favorite personal one I use more now is the New Canon EOS 30D which I bought about three weeks ago. Here is the site I hope you guys enjoy it! Tell me what you think of it! My section of all of my work is "Justin's Work" and also in the "Collaborative Work" and you know which ones are mine then so yo0u wont get confused with my friends' galleries.

Nice pics, looks like lots of fun man. What do you mean, with "Work in Progress. If this was software it'd be ß" ?? ß is a German "es-tet" or a basic double s (although not all ss can be used with a ß (it's a German sound thing:)

Thanks for sharing!

nice pix. I've always been a Nikon fan--have a old 6006 with a few lenses. Got a digital Nikos S1--very prone to blur if not using flash indoors. Was wondering what you like so much about the Canon--from what I've read it seems that Canon gets very favorable reviews. If you could comment on speed and color, that'd be great. I'm thinking about a digital SLR-was hoping not to have to spend $2K.

I would recomend eitther the Nikon D50 which I stared using with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300 telephoto zoom lens for a beginner or a Canon rebel XT with the same mm size lens but Nikon and canon make their own lenses and are not compatable. Most people prefer Canon these days but I love both of them. Here is my 2 cents pretty much the best cmpanys that make DSLRs are either Canon or Nikon. Canon makes great cameras and has a much wider lenses choices and that is what most photojournalist use. However Nikon out does canon with quality of their lesnse even though Nikon has a much smaller variety of lenses its the quality they put into it. Nikon is designed for more portrait photography or landscapes. I mostly take Portraits, sports, cars, and landscapes that is why I use both a Canon and Nikon.

Well heres the update on the site. Right now it is sometimes down because my freind is running everything on his server at his home so sometimes he has it shut off when he is not home at all. MOst of the time though it is best to check at night since he turns it on then. I thought taht would kind of help since sometimes you cant see the sirte during hte day.

Nice pics, you can definitely go somewhere with this. I like the Chinatown pix of the musician and the Big Sur pictures. I've been debating getting a DSLR. I still use my old Nikon FM manual SLRs, and I miss the SLR features when I am using my Nikon Coolpix digital. I'd probably stay with Nikon, I've had great results with them.
