new M5 or Upcoming M3

so im planing on trading in my 03, M3 for either the M5 but then i saw some spy pics od the up coming M3 ....not here is my question ...should i just get the monster M5 with that v10 500hp engine or the upcoming M3 that by my understanding has a v8 and ~425 hp..... fellow bemmer owners..what would you do?

Do you need 2 doors or 4 doors? 2 = M3, 4 = M5. You want a sportier car, but with less exclusivity, or do you want a heavier but very powerful car that's definitely more exclusive? Want to spend the extra 20k for an M5? Either car is sweet. Personally I would go for the M3.

The new M3 will be 4 doors and a Coupe keep in mind, I'm glad too.

I'm young with no kids. THus, I'd want the more impractical 2 door M3.

Plus, I'm not a big fan of the 5 series' looks.

Dude get the M3. The M5 is for all the guys who should've gotten a Porsche but their wife wouldn't let them....the 500hp V10 is only compensation for that.

What about the people who have kids/family and still want a sporty car? I'd say the M3 is the car they would get if the wife wouldn't allow a porsche.

the wife and the kids can stay home and watch judge judy, i'd wait and see what the new m3 has to offer. but if you want somethin now get the m5, i'm sure it won't be a huge huge loss to flip once the m3 comes out. i personally would go with the m3. wonder what kind of goodies they got into that v8 while in the process of developing their f1 v8

The wife can watch the view while I'm out in my sports car. Or maybe i can be like blunt! Wifey can do the work - bring home the bacon, fry it up, and not forget that I'm a man.
