Yes, but they know they duplicate well and teh general public seems to like their duplication since they usually improve while duplicating. Don't think it's gonna stop.
It's supposed to have a V6 (kind of a disappointment, but oh well), but I'm willing to bet $50 it has RWD. This isn't Honda after all.

Unfortunately, while you were joking about the V6 part, I think you're right. Word has it they're dropping the smooth inline 6 from the old IS and using the same V6 that's gonna be in the new GS.
While I'm sure the V6 is gonna be smooth, it was nice knowing that the IS300 had an engine that was related to Supra one.

tool fan, I did not mean to imply you were not aware that they are one in the same company. I just wanted to say that after all, they were just Toyotas with a different badge ofcourse. The inexpensive and durable vehicles of the 70s and early 80s, now trying to be luxurios and expensive, but can't compare them with a Benz or a Bmw in the same category, they are not in my opinion there yet. i am not that familiar with lexus names. they´re all one model just different equipment packages? i.e. the IS is the basic model while GS430 is the top notch?
