WOW, that is a nice car! I remember reading about it but I needed to look again because I couldn’t remember much about the car.

They are calling it a concept but I just built one online for $57,000.00 with about everything available, I think. The base for the sport v8 was $51 and this is what I built.

Very nice car from what I see. Could take some sales I would imagine. I think the G35 may be hitting the 3 Series a little now.

silly tom, BMW makes ///M cars, not infiniti

looks nice though, still don't like the rear passenger window lines though they kind of through the curves of the car off IMHO

Too late, already been converted to BMW for life :)

But I actually wish this car was around when I used to own an I30 Infiniti...too bad...

I think for me and many other ppl is that it's all gonna come down to how the official 3-series

sedans and coupes will look like that will decide whether we sway over to any of these

other nice cars or stay with BMW.

I know about that "official" 3 series sedan brochure and I'm hoping that the coupe goes in a different direction, especially with the rear lights!

first impression of the car ain't all that great, but so was my thought on the new 5er.. which is growing on me, lil by little everyday..

i'd have to actually drive the two dreamy cars, along w/ seeing the full specs and stats before deciding. w/ the success g35 had against the current e46, (in the magazines and by numbers) it was only logical infiniti make a 5er killer, imo.

as for the design, i dun like ht front lights, altho the new led lights will be the rage (even if i think they are ugly as hell) and the back end looks like a bastard child btw g35, and acura design. esp the mdx. we'll see how it goes i guess..

Looks very nice. In the 3rd pic, I can't help but see a Nissan from the front wheels forward. The back is kind of ugly as well, the lights are really big. The interior is very nice, and the exterior is pretty cool, but I think it'll grow on me when I see it in real life.

Makes sense. I let the lack of wood trim fly in the G, since it's really just an entry-level luxury Coupe, but this guy is a much more expensive big daddy sedan. It HAS to have wood trim, at least optional.

Yeah, the absense of wood gives it a very modern and clean look. I think either way its good.
That is Infinit's style....modern and shit. But I still think that when it comes to luxury/class, nothing beats a nice wood trim. Obviously the photo looks great with that trim because the car's interior is designed to look good with that aluminum trim. But if you look at pretty much any BMW interior, it looks best with wood trim (although this is subjective based on each person's taste).

If I remember correctly, C&D compared the G35 to a 325i. Not necessarily comparable by specs, but by price. The only thing that made the 325i SECOND (out of 5, beating the Acura TL) was the modest engine output.
If Infiniti is going to price the new M45 similarly to the 545i, I dont think it will be a 5er killer. All in all, the new M is very nice looking. Enough to stray some eyes away from BMW...for a second.
