new business cd player unit and tuning

I recently had my cd player replaced in my 2002 330 with the newer business cd and noticed that the tuning for the AM stations is in increments of 9. So I can clearly tune in 720 but not 950. Intstead I tune to 945 or 954. Does anyone know if this is normal or is there a way to change this?

Most radioes etc today have a search function that youu stop when you hit your station. Remember there is a difference between scan and search. Your unit should have both.
