Hi all; my brother found these rims, not badly priced with new tires. I'm not sure about how they'd look on my 3.

What do you guys think?

I think I don't like it cuz the picture is on a white car; can anyone photoshop it to change it to my color?

Any opinions at all

Also, here is a picture of my car, if you can just change the wheels.

I know it doesn't look that good, but i tried to make it as realistic and accurate as possible. I personally don't really like the rims, but thats just my own opinion. Hope my poor photoshopping helps [:)]

A bit too "gangsta" looking...I dunno. I feel like I would have to tint the windows. It makes it look aggressive, but not sporty-aggressive.

Pictures is very helpful; thanks!!

Specs:
Mille Miglia EV-S 17x8's all around with staggered Bridgestone RE 750's.
Front tires: 225/45/17
Rear Tires: 245/40/17

Probably $600 with practically new tires. No shipping either.

Honestly, I have my heart set on these rims, but can't afford it now, or anytime...nor would I pay that much for these rims.

With your car I would definitely go with a multi-spoke "mesh" design.

I don't like the way the Mille Miglias are looking...the second set of BMW rims would look better.

Why don't you try www.wheelmax.com or www.thewheelsupply.com for some nice looking yet cheap rims. Heck, replicas are just as good as the real things too.

Bottom line is: Do what YOU like......
My opinion is that they look better than the stock rims you have now. I was considering those rims awhile back. For that price the Mille Millia's are worth it AND they make pretty good rims. The BBS's are overpriced just like HRE's, Lowenharts, and Racingharts....although they all look sooooo good!

I like em, 5 spokes make 3 series cars look more sporty, especially when the car is on the move.

I'm not a fan of the Millie's - the way the spokes get fatter as they get to the outside of the wheel, but it looks good on the white and p'shopped version of your car, in my eyes. [:)]

There are some better wheels out there. Do you know the weight on those wheels? You should look into some lightweight wheels. Kosei K1's and SSR Comps beign some of the best and not too expensive. Remember, this is unsprung weight you're dealign with. It has a lto to do with the dynamics of your car.

wheels are a part of a car's unsprung mass. Unsprung mass amplifies the effect of a small amount of weight because the centriprital forces of rotation make the rotating mass of wheels and tyres and such much more hence making the car more sluggish. Im not very technical with this stuff and i could very well be a bit off with what im saying, but the gist of the story is that if mass rotates, it can make even the lightest weight alot heavier, hence if you have lighter rotating mass, the amplification is less.

Anyways, with the rims, maybe if you had your car lowered it would look better, but not when youve got a stock suspension setup i dont think it will look as good. If you aren't planning on lowering your car anytime soon, then go for a higher spoke number to give your rims a more fuller look, the lesser amount of spokes and your car will have a lot of negative space around the wheels kinda making it look its underwheeled o_O. (This is just my opinion from what ive noticed on other cars, please do what you want, my word aint the law).

I personally do like 5 spokes, but if the spokes were thinner only then. I think the second set of rims youre looking at would look really good, I personally am gunning for E46 M3 style rims, i think they are the best looking rims, but i cant afford anything such at the moment LOL.

Rims are such a personal thing so take good time and consideration before deciding what you wanna slap on there! And take good care of em~!!

Lower unsprung weight results in better everything - steering response, spring/shock compression and rebound, acceleration. But unless you are racing or autocrossing, it won't be noticeable on the street.....
