No more free maintenance for MBs.

BMW better not cut that perk too. If they're smart, they'll play up those early ads touting the free maintenance even more. They can really slam it to MB this way, especially since MB's quality is tanking anyways.
Wow! That's crazy. What scares me is that BMW and Audi will follow...especially since BMW is going mainstream with its SUVs, economy 1 series, and that speculation that there's a minivan in the works. Yikes.

Though, if you live in the US, your local bmw dealer won't have to worry about the 1 series.

Its probably due to the problems with the euro increasing in price. I will post an article about this tonight but basicly the way the euro is going up in value, european cars are costing more. In fact Euro cars may be having huge price hikes in the not to late future. I will post the whole thing later tonight.

To tell you the truth, I won't believe it until I experience that for myself. Mercedes, just like Audi and BMW, charge a premium for their cars. Part of this premium includes free maintenance. But if it is true, how bad could it be? MB cars require service every 12K miles, which is really not often at all. In comparison, my car needs to be taken in for service every 3,750 miles, which is not free. [chair]
