Didnt get a chance to upload and resize the pics till now, picked her up on Feb 1st.

Got all of the options, (didn't ask for PDC but took dealerstock, its actually not so bad, made me lazier in parking, lol), Navi, premium, sound, etc. Only option I didnt get was the 19", I regret that now because I later found out that I could get rim and tire insurance so I could beat up the wheels on NY roads with abandon.

24 months, 0 down, 2005, $907/mo.
I think it was a good deal.

Congrats!!!! That red leather is beautiful. Red and also blue leather are my favourite in a car. I mean, I of course love black and gray...but that red is really cool.

If you are like me and my new 05 M3....you must be on a high. Don't sweat it with the 18 in wheels....I personally think they look better than the 19 inchers and maybe your ride is not as harsh (I think the competition Pkg. combined with the 19 inchers add to the, lets just say "firmness". The M3 should come with free spinal and brain MRIs [}:)]

Congrats, drive careful and lets hope we both get to 3,100 miles soon, so we can hit the accelerator hard!!!

andreyiv: thanks man, I figured I spend more time inside the car than outside, so I wanted to go for a really nice interior color, woulda liked to get a yellow exterior though heh.

deutsch100: 3100 miles? woops, I started going a bit crazy around 1500-2000 miles, then again its only on lease for 2 years, although I heard fuel economy suffers, and it certainly is a guzzler compared to my old 2000 328Ci.

Big Daddy: oh yeah, more comfortable than my brothers 545i. [hihi]

frolf: Sure, I'll send you a PM and see whats up, although usually fridays are poker night hehe. [drinking]

Congrats and enjoy! I know I still do. Every time I get in mine I fall in love all over again. Even taking the garbage out and walking past her I have to keep looking. The E46 sure is a beautiful car. It's timeless.....

Hey Raiyu,

For the first 1,200-1,500 miles we have to be careful with RPMS and acceleration and never over 100mph. DID YOU DO THE REQUIRED (and Free) 1200 MILE DEALER SERVICE??? Up to 3,100 miles, still watch the RPMS and max speed. It is so the engine and parts can wear/break in, and to ensure future fuel economy. The Service Dept. told me that people who do not follow the break in period, almost always end up down the road with problematic Ms. Leaky fluids, really bad fuel economy, etc.... Just to play it safe....I am following the recommended guidelines. Enjoy. Damn, I love that red interior!!! It is waaaaay my taste!!!!!

Wadula: to each his own hehe, I saw it in a friends z4 and thought it was very tasteful, not over done, just the leather paneling in red, the rest black with the silver trim, oh well, hehe [drinking]

DrivingTopless: lol, snow is no good hehe, its got enough power to fishtail on dry asphalt so yeah, I agree now, I dont need it to have fun.

///M SPEED: it should definitely keep me satisfied till the new E90 M3 comes out, then we'll see how it measures up, although I think this is probably the pinnacle of BMW.

deutsch100: I followed the 1200 mile break-in, took it in for the service, and I'm not constantly ripping it now either, just every now and then get it up to about 7K hehe, Im up to about 2500 miles now. And its on lease for 2 years, I broke it in for the first 1200 so I figure it should be ok. [driving2]

Abdoman: thanks man.

tool fan: I was undecided on the color, but my little brother told me to go for this set, so I figured lets do it, if anything I can always blame him for the bad choice hehe. [}:)]

Tom: lol, we should all be driving M's [:p]

looks awesome...all you need is the floor mats, at least in my opinion i dont like the plastic ones
Those BMW All Weather "Plastic" floor mats are amazing, and really needed in bad weather states. We have them for all our cars....even the Alpina. When it is raining a lot...they really save the regular mats and carpeted foot wells. Hey- Los Angeles has had over 35 inches of rain this winter...that is like more than Seattle.

the rubber mats are sweet! its really nice not having to worry too much about what you stepped in, right before coming into the car.

that red leather is HOT! i'm not a big fan of leather in anything other than black, but that red, just looks just so sweet. hope you keep it looking good through your lease. and congrats on the lease!

Gotta agree with deutsch100 on this one, all-weather floor mats are a must in NY, we got rain, snow, and its just a dirty city overall, lol. Those carpets get really abused, they are nicer on the feet when you drive around in the summer with no shoes on, lol, but otherwise, if you dont want stains, spots, and got knows what else, the all weather is a must.
