My car rides kind of harsh. ((pics))

Compared to the Bentley Arnage T I was driving. One of my friends had a 2005 Arnage T for a couple of days and I have to say that car is sick. I didn’t have my camera at the time but I took pictures with his camera and will post them when he sends them to me. The detail in every aspect of the car is incredible. Everything from the soft leather dash to the spare lights and GLOVES in the trunk of the car was superb. The car is surprisingly fast considering that it weighs almost three tons, but it’s like being in a plane; quiet, peaceful then all of a sudden the twin-turbos kick in and your being pushed into your seat flying down the road. Sweet. It was also funny how many people were waving and pointing while we were driving down the road.

I drove the silver one but the other one had a bar. I loved the push button start (upper left next to the gear shifter) and the way to change gear shift positions (lift the black part of the handle then move into place, but driving with my hand on the handle caused it to move when the torque pushed me back. [burnout]

I'm not a big fan of the new design myself. And what's up with that silver, black shinny dash (bling, I think) look. I think my car has a better looking dash panel area. The wood is better IMO.

But I would like to drive one, even if the inside does look like a cheap Vegas hotel room. [fake]

I'm loving the quad exhaust. Brian330i, I think it has the blingin silver dash because it is the 'racing' model (quad exhaust, side vents, big sporty rims, sporty dash). I agree with you though, the new redesign isn't quite as nice looking as the older ones, though these pictures make it look alot better than the pics in Car and Driver a couple issues back. The interior looks better though, both cars as absolutely gorgeous.

Overpriced piece of shit.

The huge price tag is wasted on stupid shit like leather driving gloves and glass cups in the back seat...who the hell cares about that crap? $300K and no navigation system, give me a break. You can get a Mercedes for 1/3 the price with twice the luxury and twice the technology.
Bentley spends so much $$ making a HUGE HEAVY car and then they have to spend even more ridiculous amounts of $$ on an engine and suspension to make the unnecessarily heavy beast a good performer....makes no sense at all.


The new Bentley Continental GT is truly an amazing vehicle that is actually worth its price tag.

I'm not going to argue, but it has a navigation system, the monitor (outline that can be seen in the second and tenth pics) is hidden and neatly wrapped in leather in the middle of the dash.

Ghost, when you order your Bentley, you can choose exactly what stereo setup you want. It's not like you choose from options, you just go online and find whatever stereo setup you like and you tell them to install it. Then they custom-fabricate it so it works and they charge you two arms and two legs for it. Sometimes they end up "not being able to fit the head unit in there" and they just give you some wack alternative and charge you for it anyways.

hustler, there is no justification for this car's price tag, is my point. Better off going with the new Rolls Royce Silver Seraph

This car desparately needs a re-design and a lower price tag....$300K+ and no Xenon headlights, give me a break, where does your $$$ go into this car???

Just look at the craftsmanship, its insane. Top quality woods and leathers, mostly handmade. For those who need THE BEST, this is what they gey. Not worth it for most, but alot of people have the money for it, so why not?

And are you sure theres no Xenons? That does seem messed up, especially since the headlights are newly redesigned....

I see your point.

It just does not seem like an intuitive design, especially the dash gauges and controls.

its strage to hear some1 so against a bentley, calling it a piece of shit and useless accesorys. Those acessories comes with car of that calibor and cost. I sense a little jealousy, of the least.

The dollars go into the Bentley name....go towards your status....and to the looks of utter jealousy from the people like me. Sure you can buy a Merc for half the price, but everyone has a Merc...not special.....not everyone has a Bentley and that is where the dollars go...EXCLUSIVITY. I wouldn't kick her out of bed for not having Xenons...JMO

1. I never said I was going to order a Bentley. Even if I could afford to buy one I wouldn’t because I couldn’t sleep at night knowing I paid that much for a car when there are children out there homeless and hungry through no fault of their own.

2. Some people may not like the Xenon lights, but in the fifth picture you can clearly see that they are available. I think the options are available because Bentley feels that when a person can afford to but any car they want, they still want to feel unique in what they purchase.

3. I have to agree with you on one point, overpriced. Which goes along with what tool fan said about

When people have this vehicle other people hardly see them in any other place except at the “top” of the food chain, whether through showing it with the vehicle or simply for their own satisfaction.
