Been on vacation for the past two weeks, so have been away from the board. Anyhow, about 3 weeks ago my parents called me to tell me that my Camaro got vandalized while sitting in their driveway (I am in NC for school and decided to leave my Camaro at their house while I was in school). Apparently, my mom had removed the car cover earlier in the week to wash the car, but then it started raining so they couldn't put the cover back on. Later in the week, my mom was mowing the yard and noticed three dents in the passenger side of the car. I guess it looks like a baseball was thrown/hit at the car. Two dents in the quarter panel and one in the fender. I know it was the brats next door or their friends (been yelled at before about keeping projectiles away from the car and the house), but no one witnessed it and there is no way to prove it.
My dad called the police to get a report, but they refused to write one. A couple days later, he went down to the police station and they finally gave him one. My dad said he is going to call one of the paintless dent removal places to see if they can work some magic on the dents.
I'm furious because that car had flawless body metal. There wasn't a dent, filler, or any repairs anywhere in that body whatsoever. The passenger fender was new. If they paintless dent removal can't do it, and the car needs bodywork, I'm going to be royally pissed.
I think I will be bringing it up to NC with me. I don't trust it sitting at my parents' house anymore.
