What's you favorite music to drive fast? I know that many of you would say "best music to drive fast is the music of the revving engine" and I agree with that. But if we put that aside, what do you like to listen to when driving fast? I think my favorite would be Metallica's first album "Kill 'em all", those guys were really young, rebellious and overfilled with energy while recoding this album and you can really feel it while listening to it. Track "Motorbreath" would fit perfectly in BMW commercial.

Anything loud and fast paced. I hate rap, punk, etc. so rock, techno (a little bit of it anyways), and etc. is good. I don't need driving music anymore, now that I'm back to the bitchin' van. I call it "cover-up music", and use it to cover up the sound of the engine, squeaks, rattles, etc.

Hard rock in general, but what comes to mind right now are any Aerosmith upbeat songs. Two in particular - "Train Kept A Rollin" and "Please don't go down to New Orleans"

Early rammstein, like off the Herzeleid album or Rob Dougan (the guy who did alot of the instrumental-techno-orchestal stuff for the Matrix movies)

Usually hard rock for me (Rage Against The Machine, Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, Stone Temple Pilots, shit like that).

Old-school Michael Jackson proves to be really "good driving mood" music. [thumb]

For driving guitar and bass, it's Black Sabbaths Paranoid. And of course, the old standby, Steppenwolfs Born to be Wild. Put the top down, and crank up the volume!

Some Doobies (Long train runnin', Listen to the Music and China Grove) Fear Factory's Archetype Album is second to none, Tool, Perfect Circle and Saliva are all good, DEFTONES are definatley up there though.

Yeah I can't go past "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by 'Tallica. And "Blackened" from the ...AJFA album (my avatar) is a good old banger.

Don't mind a bit of 'Gunners or some Pearl Jam for (marginally) slower driving either.

Ministry -- "The Land or Rape and Honey"(1988) or "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste"(1989). Both are AWESOME.

I used to go mudding at 3 am to those with the mud flying all up on the windshield, wipers on full speed! (not in the 5er, a 4wd 1993 Rodeo with mud tires)

I like the picks (old) Metallica, Crystal Method and Rammstein too.
