I'm looking for a four channel amp to power my front and rear speakers. I have MB Quart components up front with an RMS range of 40-100 watts and Kenwood eXcelon 6x8s in back with a recommended RMS of 55 watts. I want an amp that is highly adjustable and correct me if I'm wrong but I thought a 50x4 RMS would be preferable. Cost doesn't matter. It just seems that all the really good amps are much higher powered than I am looking for.

I like Elemental Designs. They have great products at really low prices. You might want to consider their NINe.4 amp: Here

I am using their NINe.2 and love it.

Thanks for the recomendation but 65 watts per channel at 4 ohms seems a bit high. I'm concerned about giving the speakers too much power and sacrificing sound quality.

I'd shoot an email or call the guys at ED or talk to the people you bought the speakers from . I'm pretty sure 65/channel would be fine. You can adjust the "gain" on the amp accordingly.
