Do you guys remeber a few months back (ok over a year ago) the other M5 Vs. the Audi RS4 on the Russian highway? That feed was way more wacked than this one, albeit this one is pretty intense though. I would never attempt some of those manuevers.

Nevermind, found it :) Crazy ass video as well. They have just one full-sized freeway in Moscow - the city circular highway, and they using it to the full damn it :D It's good that only few people in Russia can afford cars like that, otherwise it would be freaken Formula 1 race on city streets, russians just like speed. For police to catch those guys in traffic like that - forget about it!

Im suprised they didnt get pulled over..
Pulled over? Heh, I surprised they didn't eat the ass end of any one of the vehicles they were damn near pushing out of their way. With people (drivers) like that it's just a question of when, not if, they are going bite the big one. The saddest thing will be the innocent people they will hurt along the way.....

Pretty stupid I might add.... [chair]

Stuped it is, I know many people who died young in car accidents, here and there. Interesting that you don't have to drive like that to get into accident, some people just can't drive well. I consider talking on the cell phone, eating/drinking, doing other things while you driving reckless driving as well.

I kept looking at the mirror, thought some cars would hit from behind.

What made the light under the mirror flash?

I dont talk on the cellphone while driving (since its hard to shift and hold a cellphone...) but when/if I have to, it doesn't feel ANY different than talking to someone thats in the car with me. In fact, probably less distracting IMO.

It's a shift light. It's attached to a tach and they're generally set to flash at the best RPM for shifting to get maximum acceleration.

Yeah I understand what you're saying but they have done studies on talking on the mobile phone and driving at the same time. The problem is that the findings were really shocking.

They found that talking on the mobile while driving was equaivalent to driving whilst having a blood alcohol concentration of around .25 (that's pretty pissed).

I think the problem is that the people on the other end of the phone aint in the car with you and so don't react to the traffic conditions that you're in. This is why its different from talking to a passenger because they shut-up when/if the situation requires maximum concentration. This, in turn, is why soooo many people bin their cars while they're on the mobile. And I don't know what it's like elsewhere in the world but if you get caught here even with a phone in your hand while driving it's an automatic $300 fine and 3 demerit points.

I happen to think that people who talk on the phone while they're driving are asking for trouble (which they usually get) and I can't say I'm very appreciative of what it is they're doing because they endanger me, as well as themselves.

I'm not having a go at you Eric, I just think it's a serious issue that should be rectified because people do it ALL the time and it's crazy!!! [thumb]

I know what you mean - but when I'm driving, my concentration is on driving. If I talk on the phone while driving, its for no more than a minute or two becuase I tell the person I have to drive (Like I said, its physically HARD to drive without my right hand [rofl])

Likewise, if I'm ever on the phone while driving, keeping that person on the line is deffinately no priority for me. If I have to shift or something tricky pops up, I'll immediately just drop the phone.

Exactly, and if you keep it plugged in to a car charger, it's easy to find the phone if you drop it [:p]
