Hello all and happy Friday! I don't know who in this forum reads The Wall Street Journal but I found this article yesterday...
"Mercedes to Lose Luxury Crown"
BMW's Global Sales on Pace to Be No. 1 for First Time Since 1993
After a year of quality trouble, job cuts and management turnover, DiamlerChrysler AG's Mercedes-Benz division is set to suffer another indignity: losing the title of the world's best selling premium brand.
The article goes on to say that BMW's sales for 2005 so far are 1,020,156 compared with Mercedes sales of 961,600.
Sorry there is no link but they make you pay.
If you want to read the entire article, it's in the WSJ, Page B4
