I blew one of my rear speakers with the stock system, I assume age played a part in it. So I am in the market for some new 4" speakers. I have found the MB Quart Discus and they seem reasonably priced. Do any of you have experience with these? Or do you suggest something else? I would like to stay under $100.00 on this expense. [idea]

Discus are great if you're powering off the head unit. If you're using a separate amp (aftermarket) get the next line up. I've always loved MB quart, next to boston. (At least, for reasonably priced brands.)

Thanks. I am going to order them. A local guy here at the Ultimate Electronics said they were junk. He recomended the Infinity's at $100.00 I have found the MB Quart's for $39.99 + $10.00 shipping.

Bullshit, I ABSOLUTELY hate Infinity speakers (for cars.) They are EXTREMELY harsh sounding and very fatiguing to listen to. I don't know how a $50 of discus off ebay are going to sound, but if you are powering off the head unit they should be fine.
