Ive been shopping for a good frame and Im having trouble. I want something strong and high quality without paying to much. I also would like something in a dark grey or carbon fiber finish. I had purchased polished steel frames from Auto Sport catalog for another car in the family http://www.autosportcatalog.com/index.cfm?fa=p&pid=433&cid=71 and they were the best frames I have ever seen. They are machined steel and extremely strong. The lexon licence plate protector it comes with is excelent, absoltley clear and is guarinteed against yellowing. My only heasitation to not buying the carbon fiber version is that with shipping it comes to $125 for two. Does anyone know of another frame sold elseware that would be of similar quality at a lower price?

For that price, should not be a Carbon Fiber look....should be the real deal, just my 2 cents.[;)]

Carbon-fiber license plate frames are hard to find. Not only that, if somebody backs into you (or goes forwards into you), your license plate frame is always the first to go. So you should make sure that $55 license plate frames are really worth it for you.
Check out http://www.autobarn.net. They don't have any carbon fiber license plate frames (I just checked), but they have an assortment of frames at very reasonable prices.

Well....if my car got rearended....the last thing on my mind would be a licence plate frame....just my opinion.....LOL. Fifty Five bones for any licence plate frame is UBER lame in my opinion. You can get anything custom fabricated in CF.....will cost you a price but can and is done. If you are serious about it, look around, am sure they are out there.[;)]

I just have a cheap thin stainless steel one with a smoke plate cover....total cost...5 bucks, but than again, I am ghetto. Only reason I have a chrome BMW front licence plate emblem, came with the car.[;)]

a little off topic but just wondering why people drive around with frames from the dealer? i've always wondered if they are just too lazy or they have to keep it on because it 's a lease or something.
