"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.

Torque is how far you take the wall with you"

QUESTION - is the above statement true?

Haha, I would say the first three are accurate.

The 4th one (torque) is true as long as you factor out the car's crash momentum.

Consider that the wall could move a few feet without the engine running, so there is no torque but the still wall moves. To accurately describe torque in this crash scenario, you hit the wall, the car comes to a stop, and then you floor it to push the wall. That's torque.
