now, im one of the more anti-banglized bmw guys out there... but i have to say in person the 6 series is stunning! front end looks great among the new bmw's, trunk is not nearly as bad as you think (though its certainly nothing to be proud of), car is not nearly as big as i thought it would be, from what i could see through the windows, the interior is OK, does still have a plastic look to it even when compared to any of the other new bmw's (except the Z4 which also has this quality) but still definitely works... now i just gotta drive the sucker in 2 weeks to give my final score...

In my opinion, the car is fine.........I've seen the convertible twice now when I'm at the dealership, one was just purchased and the guy was just sitting there staring at the steering wheel..........I was whispering, please please take me too [wiggle] .

Comparison of dealers:

I asked to see a new 6 at Isringhausen and they offered to pull one out of the showroom for me to test drive (arrggh, I didn't have the time [?|] ). Then I went to the nearby dealer (Twin Cities) in Urbana and they wouldn't even unlock the freakin' door for me to sit inside. That's why I travel 90 minutes to Isringhausen instead of 30 to Twin Cities. [thumb]

Anyway, back on topic. I like the new 6, but if I had the money, I'd build another garage and fill it with a classic M6. [driving2]

I saw one at my dealership as well, a coupe. I think that it's incredibly nice, it had the sports package and it was a MT (thank god). I'd take one over any other "larged-size" coupe.
