Hmmm, looks like BMW's sliding quality and electronic problems are finally starting to show. I would think they would have learned from Mercedes' 1999-2006 cost cutting program, and learned that cost cutting with a luxury brand just does not work. BMW is at #21/32 in quality and MBZ is now #4/32. Also several MBZ models are recommended. BMW...what goes around, comes around.
