hey guys.. just want to start off by saying im new to the forum and im glad to be here.. ok.. here is my situation.. the time is coming down and in a couple months i will be purchasing a new car. Although, i would greatly appreciated some opinions and advice about which car i should choose. Here are my choices: Brand new 2008 M5, Brand new 2008 Porsche carrera 911, or a used earlier year (05-07) Porsche 911 turbo. After browsing around for quite some time about other people's opinions, many have chosen the M5 because they have alot of things to put in their car or maybe a family.. here is a brief description of myself.. I am 22 years old. I dont have a family and dont plan on having one anytime soon so size isnt really a huge factor. This car may be my daily driver. All these are cars are tremendously great cars that I have been in love with for quite some time now so it makes it even harder for me to choose. Advice and opinions will be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

go for the Porsche, either the turbo or the new 911, they are both nice cars. I'd probably try to stretch it an go for a new turbo

thanks for your input.. i would definitely love the turbo no doubt about it, but im sure it will be tough finding one. and especially that it will be a used one if its the turbo, im even more cautious about that. If I happen to have no luck at all finding a turbo, what do you think would be the better choice between the two brand new cars.. (08 M5 or 08 carrera 911).

I say you should wait and get the new M trizzle. If you don't want to wait for the new M3, then just go for the Porsche. There is no point going with the M5 if you do not need the space and you want maximum performance.

the thing is .. i am currently driving a 2006 M3 right now, so I kind of want something different. as for the space factor, I dont mind the the small space in the porsche or the extra space in the BMW.. I am just looking for the one car that is gonna better all around.

i'd go with the 997 Turbo, new or used. next choice would be the 997 Carrera, next choice would be the 996 Turbo, next choice would be the M5. The BMW is an awesome car no doubt, but wait to get it for when you actually need the space.
