here's a pointless post....

Took some driving and riding today. From West Los Angeles to Rowland Heights (east LA), then to Orange County (Costa Mesa/Irvine) and back to West Los Angles.

I happend to notice there's a 350Z in virtually EVERY INTERSECTION & many on EVERY HIGHWAY (white, Red, Blk, Silver, Gold any color your name it), I could sware I saw at least 60 of them today.

It's just my "Nissan-350Z-Sighting-Day" or S. Cal is really Z flooded?

A blk one actally tired to raced me. LOL... :)

I still prefer the G35 Coupe over the 350Z. But, in Santa Monica/West LA area, I swear every other car is a BMW. 65% of those are like 325i non-sport sedans.

Okay, part 2

It's 11:00PM, Just came back from gym. While on my way there, a blk 350Z coupe was waiting on a red light WITHOUT any lights on (Hello! It's 9:00 PM), and the driver was holding a cigarette with 1/2 of his arm sticking out of the car. Must be enjoying himself very much.

After I got out of the gym, hey! there's a silver 350Z coupe parked right next to me.

Dude this is really my 350Z encountering day. Now I can't get the shape of that thing outta my head...

i dont see many 350Z's in South Orange County...i see one at my brothers school and its becuase the guys dad runs Universal City Nissan so they have like a different one each week in a variety of colors, but when i go see my cousin near Little Saigon and when we drive to the movies in that area, near Knotts Berry Farm, i always see a couple of 350Z's

but in my area BMW's are the most dominant high end car, well at least to what i see when in the car driving and as a passenger, for example yesterday i went to a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance in L.A. and on the way there near LAX (took the long way for some reason) and since we were on a bus (charter bus so really tall) i could look over hte divider with ease, i counted 10 BMW's to 1 MB, in South Orange County BMW's are huge and so are MB's but BMW's are really popular, it does helping having North America's largest BMW center (Irvine BMW), North America's largest MB (Laguna Niguel MB), the #2 MB on the top 500 list (Fletcher Jones Motor Cars Newport Beach), and the #46 BMW Center on the top 500 list (Creview BMW), the cars are huge down here, but i guess because everyone has money down here in South Orange County...at least thats what everyoen said...and you know the amount of BMW's is expanding is becuase at Irvine BMW they make like 82 service appointments a day and you need to make a reservation (know all this cuz im there all the time becuase of hte BMW's that i have to take care of for my family and im planning to work there over the summer as a receptionist/porter(whats better then driving cars around the center))

I don't see 350Z's all that much. I heard they are extremely popular there in CA, but here in NJ, people are still SLOWLY parting from the whole SUV craze, heading towards AWD sedans. I see A TON of G35 Sedans...I cannot believe how common they have come. They are like the new 3-series on the block.

The most common cars in New York would definitly be the Land Rover Discovery, BMW 5 series (e39) 3 series (e46 and e36). Today on the way back from school, I saw at least 10 Rovers, and on each block there is always either a 5 or a 3 series parked. Its like their all following me 0_o

my area is packed with people who continuously buy the latest BMW's... i see brand new 5 series, 7 series, 3 series, Z4's... then Z3's, only one M3, a few E36's, a few e39's, one E24, one E28, one E32, and besides my E34... one other E34...

otherwise this area is packed with ricermobiles or SUV's, lots, and lots, of SUV's...

I consider myself fortunate that I do not see rice-burners very often.
I think so many people have the 350Z because of the price-performance ratio. It is a really great sports car for only the mid-upper $30K range.

I also prefer the G35 over the 350Z and I am starting to notice more 350Z's than the G35. For some reason I put the G35 in a whole different class than the 350Z, not sure why but I think upgraded Hyundai when I see a 350Z. Perhaps because I hear a lot about how "cheap" they are inside.

Doesn't the 350Z run $25-30 range?

PS-This is why there are so many of them, This is for the "driving enthusiasts edition."

CarsDirect Price:
$30,795
Invoice Price :
$28,795

There are a few M5's and numerous M3's in Brentwood. Also, I saw several older 5ers hanging out at Sonic on Highway 96 one night, along with a couple E30's, some E36's and one Supra. There's people out there with cars like yours. Just gotta know where to find them. But yeah, Franklin and Brentwood are BMW havens, especially E46's.

I second the "I see BMWs everywhere" - particualrly 3 series..(could be worse...but yeah very common - and this was a bit of a negative for me...that I had to overcome in puchasing one)

Also agree on the G35 vs 350Z - G35 looks much nicer - inside and out...and the 350 is much too tight for me inside (while I find my little MR2 to be quite roomy)

Also - yeah - I own 350Zs (and G35s...etc etc) in My S4. They (as well as all manner of 3 series) seem to always want to race me and such...and when I bother...its practically like they are standing still (or I have to back off to avoid running up their tail pipe). BTW - I think they are all fine vehicals...and they are quick...but one must really be more prudent in choosing their battles...oh I should add Acura TLs & CL-S's and such to the list..as well as all maner of SUVs, trucks, and moms in mini-vans...particularly Honda Odessys.....???? I like 350Z's and G35's..Nissan came out with a nice looking body style imo, performance is very good for the price. Isnt it a nice package for mid 30k's ???
