I hadn't had good experience w/ iPod from the beginning. I bought a 4th generation 20GB from Best Buy. It gave me static in most of the songs. Took it back to Best Buy after a month. The service guys said, "Sounds good to me!" I said, "What do you mean? at 1st I thought it was my BMW stero system, then I bought 2 new headsets to prove it. It is a lot worse than playing it from the CDs! He answered with a bad attitude, "They will charge you shipping, if they can't find anything!". Before then, I asked if I could return it to save myself from all these hassles after experimenting with the iPod for 31 days.
Of course, I requested having it send back to Apple for maintainance. I spent $300 for the LEMON, which I originally asked for an APPLE. $59 for the 3-yr warranty (glad I bought it), $350 for the BMW interface adaptor! Lord, this cheap GROCERY SHOPPING costed me $700 for a LEMON, I better buy an Orange next time.
Luckily, Apple was a whole different story. They uploaded the latest iPod software into the iPod and it functions so far. However, Apple recommended not to have any further EQ adjustment. But what are those options for???
