Interlagos Blue on a Chevy Equinox :-o

I was at the gas station a little bit ago, and a 2006 Chevy Equinox pulled up at the pump (btw $3.30 a gallon). Chevy has stolen Interlagos Blue. It is not just similar....it is Interlagos Blue. From the slight, deep purplish in the shade, to the bright, yet rich electric blue in the sun with all the metallic colour flecks. Needless to say...it was not a fun sight today. WTF?

Hey there Emile. I don't know what the colour is called I saw today....but it was identical to Interlagos. It was a 2006, with dealership plates (Rydell Chevrolet, Van Nuys, California)

I do not think the color codes match up, but either way, colors often end up getting shared. For example, the color of my vehicle's Brembo brake calipers is the same exact color used on the Honda Civic Si for a little while.

Essentially, as Eric stated, it's not a big deal.

Actually I was going to get my car repainted the same color (cinnebar) in the spring, but now that I really look at it, I think I might go with the Interlagos blue, At least I'd have a factory paint.

Chevy has had that color or a color of that type for some time now. It is a really nice color too. But who am I, I love blue......
