I am thinking of installing the Intellivalve tire pressure monitor system on my car.
Does anybody have it on their's? And would you recommend them?
Consumer Reports highly recommends them as very reliable and accurate, with the easiest installation.
What I want to know is will they affect wheel performance (balancing problems) and are they suitable for low profile tires (235-45-17/255-40-17)? Are the valves good and durable, coz' if they are leaking, you'd have to change the whole sensor with the valve, which costs $49 each. And will the radio signals interfere with the car's electronics?
Thanks!
