What do you guys do about your aftermarket mods and covering them with insurance? Mostly i'm thinking about everyone who has expensive rims, i don't think that is covered so does everyone just rely on wheel locks etc?

I don't park my car outside so I'm really not worried about getting my wheels stolen. I do have wheel locks and an alarm system to help deter those would be thieves.

If my wheels were to be stolen, I would most likely report it as my OEM wheels being stolen.[:D]

I'm just thinking as i park in an underground and you never know. Reporting the OEM's would be funny though!
By the way can i get the definition of OEM? I know if refers to the original parts but i don't know what is stands for.[8]

^^ Yup, and they often cost as much or more than aftermarket rims too. Course, unlike many manufacturers, BMW has quite a few stylish rims so lots of people will upgrade to an OEM rim.

Or you can try and get the aftermarket parts covered with a rider. It'll cost a bit more but prolly present the least amount of hassles in case anything does happen.
