For 53,000 dollars, you would think that most of those options would be free. M or not... it is still a 3 series BMW, You can get into a 550i for just about the same price. Kinda sad and I am disappointed.

there's always the debate of getting high end 3er, or lower end 5er.. depends on what you are looking for. m3 and 550 are different beasts for different people.

options will kill you tho.. over 10k in options? geesh!

No, I just think it's ridiculous that BMW (and some other German automakers) still charge for things like metallic paint nowadays, especially on cars in this price point. You can walk into any Chevy dealership and buy/order a base $12,500 Aveo and get metallic paint free of charge. You shouldn't have to pay an option fee just to get anything other than black, red, or white.

$600 for Sirius....hope that includes the subscription...I wish I could intergrate it into my 00 528...mines still cupped to the windshield. ...But man, I can't live with out it
