That's exactly why in NY state and NJ you purchase "uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage" and our premiums are so sky high, unless you sellout to allstate and for the coverage they provide even their rates are high...

I wonder if the Ferrari is that strong that it caused all that damage to the old POS...

Man, that Ferrari is totally screwed up - there is a lot more damage structurally than it appears: look at how the window on the driver's side door is popping out even though the door is completely closed. That car is majorly screwed up.

Look at the surroundings. This may sound a bit pompous, but that's what happens when you drive through a neighborhood with a car like that. More than likely most people there probably have never seen a Ferrari in real life and with all the head turning you're just asking for someone to hit you. One must be conscious where you drive your exotics....

Or it could be just Richard stated, "Maybe it was the Ferrari guy's fault". Why take the chance....

See, the Ferrari also has damage in teh rear. Means the impact was hard enough to either punt the Ferrari to the side and into another car, or maybe the Ferrari was rear ended into that cheap car in teh pic. It's just weird.

Plus, like you guys mentioned, why the hell is that Ferrari in that neighborhood?

Just something doesn't add up. That's why I suspect it may be the Ferrari's fault. Some tool rented a Ferrari or is noveau rich and decided to tear around in some poor neighborhood to show off.

I believe every state has "uninsured and underinsured" as we did in Idaho, California and Washington. I have Liberty Mutual, they give discounts to BMW CCA members and beat my last insurer by over $600.00 per year!

Really?? Just got a quote less than a week ago from Liberty Mutual with the 'BMW discount" and for our 3 cars and the Harley they wanted......are you ready??? $16,000 for the year.

I spoke with a manager, and they said they have never closed a deal in Los Angeles County in the last 6 years. Gee I wonder why??

This quote is for 2 people, multiple vehicle discount, good driver record, college degrees, etc, etc.

For us Liberty Mutual is horrific. We have AAA, and so far they have been excellent (they do though send out a million mandatory forms and evalutations that get annoying!)

Damn Kirby.....beat me to it. I saw those pics a few days ago. PAINFUL......20 y/o kids male or female should not be allowed to drive cars like that...they should impose a law, (like germans have on Bikes) that make it mandatory to drive a car with a certain amount of HP for a certain amount of time before they can move to a high HP rated car. I think we would see a heck of alot less of these types of accidents.

Can you imagine being the father of this girl and getting that phone call,"Daddy, I just wrecked the Ferrari!!!" I love my girl...but she would be walking home.
