NHRA had a booth at the IAS trade show last weekend, several drivers were there singing autographs. They actually talked to people and were hanging out with us. Did anybody go?

I met Ukiyo Katayama (or however that name is spelled correctly). You remember? the king of donuts and spins in F1? Then I met Hans-Joachim Stuck, Dirk and Jörg Müller (they pilot one of the M3 GTR)

that´s it for celebrities but I am still hoping for more [hihi]

At one of the LA Auto shows a few years back, I met (and got personalized autographed mini posters) from Steve Millen and "Ironman" Ivan Stewart. Still hanging in my room at my parents house. Totally cool guys. Everyone got to chat briefly with them too (since I guess most show goers had no idea who they were. I told Ivan Stewart that it was a shame Toyota gave him a V6 while his competitors got V8's the past Baja and he grinned, and told me to check out the rest of Toyota's exhibit (where I found a brand new V8 Trophy truck). Got to chat with Millen about Pike's Peak and his son following in his footsteps.
