I feel violated...

Went to the local Tweeter (HiFi Buys) and they're having a sale on last year's model MB Quarts, so I picked up a set of RSD-213 speakers (Premium line, 5.25 inch) for $270 with tax... this was almost half off of their normal price of $500...
Well I come home and look on the internet, and the exact same speakers are all over the place for between $129 and $149... Hopefully their return policy will let me return them (!)
Don't trust salesmen who tell you that you won't find a better price, even on the internet! (This may have been already known by everyone but me...[???1] )

Yep I saw those exact auctions a few minutes ago, $110 shipped, can't beat that!
I'm looking for an Alpine CDA-9813 to go with them, as well as some coaxials for the back. Hopefully I can keep it around $450 for everything, I should be able to.
Thanks for the help!

I did, not the kinds of discounts I was hoping for, but I suppose you can't win em all. Can't wait to get all this done! I've heard nothing but great things about MB Quart speakers and Alpine head units.

tweeter always overprices all their shizzle. they should accept a return on those speakers though. like i've said in the past definitely purchase your amp and headunit from an authorized dealer.
