how to assemble z4 5-speed tranny

I took them apart and now can't assemble them. Since BMW does not publish a shop manual, where do I get in the info? Thanks so much

Assuming you really did take it apart (and aren't yanking our chain), this should help. Sorry, but most people who would tear apart a tranny would know what they were getting into and would have labeled/staged the parts during disassembly....

I have access to realoem and partially assembled it. However, steps of assembly would help greatly. I have taken other transmissions apart and assembled with no problem. However, it is kind of tricky.

I don't know of any other sources of info. For what ever reason, on all the cars I have shop manuals for, transmission detail info seems to be really scarce. The only place I have ever seen that level of detail is in the Factory Shop Manual for my Honda CB750.

Is it a ZF transmission? Perhaps they might have something available directly?
