Help with moonroof!!

The moonroof on a 1992 Touring Wagon will not shut. Are there any common problems with these or does anyone have a diagram of the parts to try and see what all it consists of so I can fix it?

What do you mean, it doesn't shut? Like it's jammed, or the switch is faulty, or the motor is junk? How close can you get it to being closed?

Yeah it doesn't shut like it is jammed. The motor will run but it is almost like it thinks it is shut now.

Where does it jam though? Almost closed, or stuck wide open?

In the short term, there should be a manual crank hidden behind a pop out panel (at least the newer BMWs have this).

But if there's something jammed in there, a manual crank may not help...
