Well some idiot decided to write "BMC" real big on the front hood of my car this weekend with a permanent marker.

I have removed almost all of it using wax/polish but the writing is still there though very faint.

Does anyone know of a product that will completely remove this kind of a stain?

Someone suggested using hairspray and I wasn't sure why, so I haven't tried it yet...

Help!

I have no idea what BMC is...but I wasn't the only victim, other cars in the complex were written on as well.

Some f***head(s) thought it would be funny to write bullcrap on cars.

Try some "Goof Off" on a rag. Use a small amount and rub gently. I used it to take permanent marker off my water skis once. These types of acts are usually committed by persons with small minds!

people too stupid to get jobs to afford nice things think its not their fault they can't afford nice things, so they do stuff like that.

This is what I was going to suggest.

Id use a scratch remover, what is does is move the paint around at a molecular level, works really well on scratches as well as paint, I had some paint drops all over my front, and it got it all out.

Thanks guys for all the help and tips, I've managed to remove all of it using scratch remover and wax.

PHEW! [bmwdance]

As for "BMC", I think they were too idiotic or drunk to spell BMW correctly. That or it could stand for "Bit*hy Man Car"? [idea]

I really hope these kind of people suffer in their afterlife or even now!

Glad to hear it worked out. I was afraid you'd have to re-paint.

I hate the way some forms of human garbage try to ruin things for hard-working people. I only worry that they will do it again.
