heads up display

any one no about heads up dispaly on 2001 745i sport Iv'e seen this advertised at a BMW dealer. Im wondeering if this is a typing error

2001? Must be a typo. They didn't have that option yet on that model as far as I know of.

There are no 2001 745's if I remember right.
First 745's are 2002.

I was watching the German auto show, one of the BMW's had a HUD, not sure if it was the new 6 or 7 series. Not sure if they have any few year older 7's. I know there are aftermarket companies that you can add a HUD to a car. Not sure of how well a aftermarket HUD works...but I know I saw one last weekend on the new BMW products....6 or 7 series....still bugging me which one. [???1]
