I have not been paying much attention to Mitsubishi, quite frankly I never have...But have you guys seen this Lancer Evolution VIII called FQ 400?

Not a huge fan of the "high performance econoboxes"...but 0-60 MPH in 3.5 secs, that is moving into supersport motorcycle territory. Not cheap (somewhere around $85,000 USD if available for US import), especially considering that it is just a cheap econobox shell, but still you are destroying just about everything on the road with this little car.

Wow!

As many financial problems as they are up against I am surprised that they found the funds for this. Their car sales in the US have been terrible. Impressive car, but as you say, I am no Mitsubishi fan either. Interesting read though!

I've seen a couple ads for the new Eclipse, it seems that they are going backwards rather then forwards with their designs.

Looks like a crummy 350Z...

Exactly what I was thinking. Although, I don't think I've ever seen a Mitsubishi that I thought, "that's a nice looking car."
I actually think the new Galant with the upgraded lights (only with the upgrade lights) looks very slick. Dare I say better than some modern BMWs? [B)]

I tend to agree, never really cared for the looks of the Mitsubishi's.

I have to say that I would like to see the faces of the guys in their super, super cars being dusted by a 4 door econobox like this...Just once!

Don't get me wrong, I would still prefer the super car for the overall package.
