Gruppe M Short Ram Intake

I haven't seen this one. Where is the air going to be coming from? What is the cost vs. performance gains going to be? Maybe going Cold Air would be just as beneficial with a fraction of the cost. More details and some pics of your engine would help.

it's a short ram, so the short ram filter is literallr right there where the stock air box was. The filter is surrounded by a carbon fiber box. i can actually get it for 125 of bmwboard. A lot of people on e46fanatics said there is no gain/ loss of pwer, i'm not so sure of that. I hear it sounds amazing and that makes sense because most short rams do. What do you think?

Go for it, my friend has it on his 96 E320, the thing is louder than a G35 exhaust, sounds amazing when he flies by my car.

His 96 e320 dynos at 209whp in limp mode. He has nothing done to the car other than the intake which is funny because the car is supposed to only have 217hp at the crank. Its more like 270, the thing is a quick car.
