I have a 1992 325i Sedan and I think that it's amp may be fried! There is constant static and distortion on the front left speaker. I thought it was the speaker first but when I adjust the balance and fader to the left speaker only, I can hear very soft, but clear sound (no distortion then). The moment I adjust to normal mode where all my speakers can get sound, I get the same static and distortion.
Any suggestions on a fix? Or do I have to replace the amplifier, or get a new system.
