Last night, I drove to Greensboro, NC to pick up a Christmas gift. As I was coming into Greensboro, I noticed something that wasn't there the last time I went to G-boro. Right off of the interstate was a beautiful brand new big huge car dealership.
Big deal, you say? Big new car beautiful dealerships are everywhere right? Well, maybe so, but not dealerships like this one.
That's right - this dealership sells new Ferraris, Maseratis, Aston Martins, and Porsches!! Let me tell you, it's amazing to drive past a building that has those four names written across it with their respective emblems.
On my way back home, I stopped by the dealership and took a closer look. They had a Ferrari 360 and an older Aston DB9 sitting outside in front of the building. The view inside was simply breathtaking - 360 coupes and cabrios as far as the eye could see and a 612 Scaglietti right up by the front door. The Ferraris were sharing floorspace with the Maserattis. It appeared that they had the entire Maseratti line in the showroom, in various colors. A walk over to the Aston section of the dealership revealed the most beautiful, contemporary showroom I've ever seen. Inside that showroom was a V12 Vanquish S, a DB9, and a DB9 Volante. I didn't venture over to the Porsche part because I was damn cold, and I didn't think there'd be anything there that I hadn't seen before. Now, I kick myself because I wonder if they had a Carrera GT?!?!?
I went around the side of the building and looked through the side entrance door and was amazed to see a Ferrari F40 staring back at me. Beyond that, I saw part of an older Ferrari cabrio, and a black Porsche GT3. There were a few other cars there that I couldn't see well enough to identify.
I was truly stunned. Yes, I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I didn't have my camera with me at the time. After the new year, I plan on going back when they are open and taking a LOT of pictures.
