This is the successor to the 360. I just read this in C&D. Supposed to debut in the Paris Auto show this September. The figures are also form C&D. Im quite impressed in the design. Certainly has cues from the 360, but with unique improvements.

I think it is an awesome car!! The only thing I don't like (which I did at first but now i'm kind of second guessing it) is the rear... though better than the 360, it DOES kind of copy the enzo. And the mirrors, they have "F430" stamped on the mirrors, it kind of looks cheap.

Looks great, i like it a TON more than the 360 modena. The only thing that I'm not sure of is the really deep front intakes, those are kind of odd looking. Maybe it's just the angle or something.

Here's a question:
I know most of you guys dislike the new Gallardo and Murcielago, as well as the Enzo, for not looking 'italian' enough. Does this car look Italian? What makes a car look 'Italian'?

Also, I dont dig the F430 on the mirrors, but it looks like that logo is photoshopped on there, it doesn't have a very realisitic look. I hope they dont keep that on the production model.

Looks too much like the 360. I was more a fan of the 355 styling than the 360 too.

This car looks Italian (not the best, but still qualifies). To me, something looks Italian if it's pretty swoopy and pretty wild looking. Should create instant feelings of "Damn, now that's a sports car I want." The new Lambos have a bit too many sharp edges. They look like origami pieces, not super cars. Like it was designed purely for the wind tunnel with no thought to being aesthetically pleasing.

Big beautiful curved lines is what I think makes it look Italian. The Lambos have gone to a more simplyfied design and franckly feel have lost their mystique. I still like them but havent gotten the feel for them. Similar with the E60.
To me, the Enzo is a masterpiece. Yes different, but the way it seamlessly transforms from sweet smooth curves to straight chiseled lines throughout leaves me in awe.
Now this F430, I think its a significant improvement over the 360s desing. The picture ghost put on the silver F430 rear 3/4 shot just looks killer. The rear fins give it the subtle agressiveness of a soft spoken 240lb linebacker--wait--Iron Mike Tyson.

Its suppose to toggle between DSC modes. As you can see, it has a snow, sport, and race setting. Of course, it can be completely turned off too.

How competative will the new M3 be against this prancing horce? Given that it will have a 4.0 400hp V8. By the way, the high resolution of the leather on the dash is sweet.
