Nice video except the camera man/woman needs to hold the camera still. The Ferrari got a good bit of wheel spin on start and the M5 flat out hooked up. What a beast, can't wait for these types of comparisons with the M6.....

When Jeremy reviewed the M5 on Top Gear he said that he loved how the M5 was and that he thought it was best car he's ever driven or something along those lines and he's a huge Ferrari fan and he drove the F430 which he had said was a great car!

But a Ferrari is a Ferrari none the less.

Not entirely true, the M5 out weighs the Ferrari by 1000lbs, that is ALOT of weight, think about the the power to weight ratio, 100 hp is not that much to move an extra 1000 lbs. The M5 is just one of the baddest cars EVER built. I love Ferrari, but credit must be given where crdit is due. 4 door sedan spanked a 2 door super car. But you are right the Ferrari does look sportier.

100 hp isn't a lot for 1000 lbs? Since when? That's 10lbs per horsepower... almost the exact same weight per horsepower as the E46 M3 for that extra 1000 lbs.

The M5 is a heavy beast, but a huge car as well. I do not like that the car is only 168lbs lighter than an S500 (which is a much bigger car), but 4,000lbs curb weight + 500hp makes for an awesome combo.
