Factory alarm compatability?

I have pulled the factory alpine alarm from my '96 328is along with the glass sensor, LED, and the harness that goes from alarm module to the cars recepticle which was somewhere near the firewall behind the glove box)

Does anyone know if the recepticle is the same on my '97 328ic?

I mangled my hands up pulling out the pieces and did it in a darkened garage and want to know for sure before I go looking for something that may not be there.
