Ever wonder who the Stig is from Top Gear?

Hes a former race car driver ( formula f1) that had a failed run or something, so hes on top gear now. I think richard something..

sad sad thing. Maybe its the guy Tiff that plays the main driver in 5th Gear. I've seen the girl Vicky from 5th Gear w/ Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear in the same car [rolleyes]

so I dunno. Probably another F1 driver.

Just got informed that he is in fact not dead yet, but rather moved on to better things. I guess he lost interest in being the Stig [xx(]
