I Own A 1985 Bmw 318 I With 55,000 Mile . Lately The Idle Has Become Eratic. It Normaly Runs At 850 Rpm. However It Now Fluctuates Between 1500 To 2000 Rpm. It Will Run Like This For A While Then Return To 850 Rpms. It Usualy Occurs Shortly After I Start The Vehicle In The Morning And Drive About 5 Miles. I Have Checked For Vacuum Leakes And Looked At The Air Idle Control Solonoid And Tightened The Bolts To The Intake. I Took A Drive Up To The White Mountains This Past Weekenn And The Cars Idle Performed Flawlessly. Has Any One Had The Same Experience And If So What Is The Solution To Adjusting The Idle. The Manual States There Is No Adjustment For The Idle Control. Any Info Would Be Appreciated Thanks
