While the Sirius connection works great, it did go out once (not the radio, but the actual signal) and brought up another interesting problem. When they asked if the channel was on 184 for them to ping it, I couldn't say it was since none of the buttons actually work when the signal is broken! Anybody ever come across this? It wound up working again by itself so I didn't have to take it in, but believe it or not none of the dealers would (or could) answer this simple question over the phone insisting I bring the car in. Nice.

The Sirius signal is weak for me. It goes out all the time in certain areas that I drive (temporarily) but then it comes back after a second or two, particularly when I pull into the garage to park the vehicle. I cannot change the channel or anything either while it says 'NO SIGNAL' but I can switch to regular radio or CD during this time. For how long did you lose the Sirius radio signal? Because if the signal drops, it just reconnects instantly and should not require reactivation of any kind or anything like that.
