E90 M3

Hi guys, I am wondering if anyone knows the estimate MSRP on the new upcoming E90 M3 coupe will be? And should I buy the last year 2006 E46 M3 or just wait for the E90 M3? Thanks in advance.

E46 = 333hp
E90 = 400hp
as for pricing i dont know how much the E90 M3 is, but i would hold out then decide on what 2 do when you see the E90 M3 i think you would want that one

depends on how long you can hold off. e90 m is still close to 2 years off. sure it'll be a "better" car, but e46 is pretty damn nice imo. maybe if you could afford to, lease, then re-lease.

I wonder if the E90 M3 will have the option of having the iDrive like the E90 3er or comes standard. I wouldn't mind having the iDrive cause after my dentist just bought the new 2006 750i, he said he drives perfectly and adjusting the iDrive at the same time. Thank you for your replies.

i dont think it will have the i-drive, but it will have the SMG tranny again

i would prefer the idrive to be an option, rather than the standard eqpt, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see. i'm just not that big of a fan of bmw's version of the nav system. its nice having it, but there are better solutions out there imo.

i wonder tho, the 400hp specs seem pretty nice right now, but wonder how the competition will be when it finally arrives 2 yrs from now.

why would you even ask this?????? well i know its late i guess that what it was. for one why make a M5/M6. and no M3 its not hard math and it was announced how do you think people know what it type of power it have, you better get some mags and start reading man come on get on the ball

Thats not the point. BMW as a corporation has NOT OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED an E90 M3!! Newsflash - The magazines ARENT official press releases!!! I KNOW they are going to build an M3, I'm not a sped. I said they haven't even announced an M3 yet, so how can we even begin to speculate that they WILL build one?

Again, how can we speculate the price when we dont even know if it'll have 2 or 4 exhuast tips, let alone what engine, trannsmission, etc.

The pics are nice but quite old in the scheme of things. That mag published those pics long before the E90 was even officially going to be released. I spoke with a German handler the other day and he assured me a summer 06 coupe and a summer/fall 07 release for the M3.

Exactly, and again those pictures mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They are SIMPLY photoshops of a standard E90 with the front valence of a E60 M5 photoshopped on. If you don't believe me I'll do it for you.
