E90 Coupe commercial - "Most powerful 3 Series ever"??

I just saw a commercial for the E90 coupe twin turbo. It is driving around inside an office building. The voice over says it's "With 300 hp, it's the most powerful 3 series coupe ever."

Isn't the 333hp M3 a 3 series coupe??!?!?!?

Check this month's Car and Driver, it hits 60mph in 4.9 secs one tenth behind the M3 and they have the same 1/4 mile time and trap speed. Sounds great, it won't have the same sports car performance as the M3, but next M3 expect 100 more horses with a V8.

Agreed. The M division is separate and uses the body shells of more mainstream models to create the M cars... a bit like Alpinas B3s

When they say the most powerful they do mean all 3 series, it has the most torque (300ft/lb vs M3 at a wimpy 262 ft/lb). Also testing on a track the 335i Coupe beats the current M3, and in a straight line deadheat. It is the most powerful 3 series ever.

Check out the automobile magazine dyno test articles on the new 335 coupe. Two different dyno tests on two different cars show almost 300 hp to the wheels! I have a good amount of seat time in the new 335 and it is very quick, frankly it feels as quick as the current M3 but with more torque, but a M3 it is not.
