OK Kids,
Here's the M635csi me, my dad, and my brother are looking at buying. Some of you might remember I posted a thread a while back concerning another E24 we were looking at but it turned out to be a bit of a lemon. Luckily we've found this lovely example which has only done 130,000 kms since 1987! It has a full service history at BM Tech (an independent but highly reputable BMW service shop) and has been imported from England in 1997.
It's got all the good kit: 286 BHP, 24 valve M88 engine, 5 speed Getrag manual gearbox, Limited Slip Differential, air conditioning, sunroof, alloys, black leather Recaro heated memory seats etc. I'm sure the electric seats will cause a sh*tload of trouble but they do look very supportive. The only thing that worries me is the fact that it's from Blighty where they salt the roads in winter. Rust wouldn't be great but I'm sure we can have that checked out on a pre-purchase inspection. I'm pretty well versed on everything there is to know about the original (and the best!) M6.
