Just curious who has had these tires, and how you like them? Most of what I will drive in is slush, packed/light snow, and mostly wet roads. I only plan on getting 2 for the rear and putting two of my good all seasons on the front. Also - is tirerack's $105 a good price for these? There aren't any garages that sell the M3's around here [:(]

I wasn't going to get snow tires, but the 5 does horrible in the snow (e30 felt like front wheel drive compared to the 5). Plus they do a very shitty job clearing anything but the few main roads.

All I can tell you is that Tire Rack has some of the lowest prices compared to retail stores and other online stores. If you find a retail store that sells the M3's in your size, you can ask them to match Tire Rack's price (of course it's up to them to do it or not, but sometimes they will).

That's the biggest problem is finding M3's to begin with...then finding 225/60-15 is another story...

I run 225/50/17 Wintersport M3s on my M3.

I have about 6k miles on them, and they are excellent. I have driven in several snowstorms of 5+ inches without incident.

I'm never going to compromise my daily driver in the name of winter handling again . . .

Get the M3s from tirerack. You will be hard pressed to find them for less.
