They are very nice cars and the suspension is truly Daimler inspired, in fact when I was searching for a replacement for the wife's 750iL we sold some years ago she opted for this:

She got the 3.5 liter High Output V6, 250 hp and 28 mpg on the highway, leather, 18 wheels from the RT version, AM/FM/CD?MP3, power everything (seats, etc.), lumbar, tilt/telescoping wheel, etc. The car is loaded and I think she made a great choice.

Very nice wagon Dan. Yeah on average I was getting about 420 miles on a full tank of gas during highway driving.

The Charger is a pretty nice car, it makes for a great-looking wagon. The Charger should come standard with the 5.7L V8 though, and have the supercharged V8 as optional.

It depends on the model you buy, the SE comes standard with a 2.7 liter v6, the SXT with the 3.5 liter v6, the RT with the 5.7 Hemi, the Daytona RT with the same 5.7 and the SRT8 model with the 6.1 liter Hemi (just like the Magnums)

The nice part about those V8's is that you can supercharge it and get massive horsepower out of them for relatively little money.

Do not know about them, but the SXT handles it well. It is not my roadster, but it definitely handles well for a wagon. I was very impressed with its agility, and ability to handle the corners.

Good call, Tom. I'm curious as to how the Charger and Magnum R/T and SRT-8 models handle at 100+mph.
They are nice.... but MASSIVE and heavy. I have a friend that has the SRT8 Charger and it sounds mean as a pack of hungry wolves, but my Bullitt smokes it off the line.......... everytime. That much power should not be so weighted down.

I have tracked a 06 Charger SRT8, handles really nice, the 425 horse and 4something torque is very impressive.

I have a customer that bought one for his wife and he liked it so much he sold his Mercedes S500 4 matic to get one also. His is a 07, similar except for brakes. His came with vented and slotted rotors.

He is waiting for the new Challanger, supposed to have an option for Stick shift!

Chrysler is the parent company of Dodge and sells the wagon under the Dodge brand as the Magnum. The wagon shown is a Magnum (Dodge) with a Chrysler 300 grille which is interchangable as you are correct, the 300 and Magnum share the same platform.
