Steve Dinan has announced that Dinan Cars will build an M3 with the company's just-released 628hp 5.7-liter V-10 stroker engine.
The vehicle will be released in roughly a year, well after the 4.6-liter stroker kit for the new M3 comes out. (Dinan says the stroked M3 should be available no later than the new year).
While other tuners (such as Hartge, Hamann and AC Schnitzer) have dropped the BMW V-10 engine into either the M3 or 335, this stroked engine will make the Dinan M3 the most powerful to date. "We also plan on lightening up the front end so it handles properly," says Dinan.
